Artist Biography
Gold Medalist Mildred Sands Kratz is
the recipient of more than one hundred awards for her watercolor paintings, including a
rare Senatorial Citation for "Outstanding Achievement in the World of Art".
Franklin Mint says, "Mildred Sands Kratz is well established as one of today's most
outstanding artists in the tradition of American Realism." She is an elected
member of the American Watercolor Society as well as other professional organizations. Her
originals and prints are collected internationally.
Ms. Kratz has been included in Who's Who of American Artists, World's Who's
Who of Women, Who's Who of the East, Who's Who of the Midwest, 2000 Women of
Achievement, London and Who's Who of American Women.
